COVID-19 Policies

These COVID-19 specific policies are being strictly enforced for the health and safety of all my clients and myself.

Cleanliness and infection control have always been top priorities for my practice. For your safety, in addition to all Rhode Island state requirements, I will be following Practice Guidelines recommended by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSTMB), along with infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Please help me to support all of my clients by cooperating with these new requirements.

  • You are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or have a legitimate, compelling medical reason for remailing unvaccinated.

  • Prior to each massage session, you must mindfully self-screen for symptoms of Covid-19.

  • I will wear a mask covering my nose and mouth both in office common areas and for the entirety of your massage session. Masks are recommended for all clients, but not required. This policy is subject to change at any time.

  • You are encouraged to wash your hands before your massage. You will also find hand sanitizer in the reception area and throughout the office to use as needed.

  • You will be required to sign an informed consent statement acknowledging your understanding that receiving massage at this time carries additional risks.

For All Services

Payment is by cash, check or major credit card and is due at time of service. A touchless prepayment option is also available if you prefer. At this time, gift certificate purchases are limited but may be available by request. Gift certificates are transferable, but not refundable, and must be presented at time of redemption.

All treatments are by appointment only. Due to limited availability, it is recommended that you schedule your appointment(s) as far in advance as possible.

Arrival Time

Your appointment time is set aside exclusively for you. As appointments begin and end at scheduled times, being late will simply shorten your appointment time. You will still be charged the full fee for your scheduled appointment. Please do not bring a companion to wait for you during your service without notifying me in advance. Only minors are allowed a parent or guardian to accompany them.

Cancellations

If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, kindly provide 24-hours notice, at minimum.  Failure to give adequate notice of cancellation may result in a fee of 50% of the price of your scheduled service.  Failure to provide any notice of cancellation may result in a fee of up to 100% of your scheduled service price. Exception - if you are feeling ill or are denied entry to the office due to your COVID-19 screening information, you will not be charged.
